What goes into the number
- Labour. Authorised-service-centre labour for the scheduled visits.
- Consumables. Engine oil, oil filter, air filter, brake fluid, coolant top-ups.
- Tyres. Cost of a set divided by tyre life in km, multiplied by your annual mileage.
- Starter battery. Replacement cost spread over its expected life.
What is not included
- Accidents, insurance claims, and one-off repairs.
- Tax, registration, and ownership-transfer fees.
- EV high-voltage traction battery replacement (this is usually covered by warranty in the first 8 years; we treat it as out of scope).
