About motozop

Honest cars and bikes for India.

MotoZop is a research site for people buying a car or a bike in India. We build a single, boringly-reliable place to compare on-road price, monthly running cost, and real-world suitability for the daily commute — city by city, fuel by fuel.

Why we exist

The Indian buyer is sent through a maze of brochure PDFs, regional pricing, and review sites optimised for ad clicks. We compress that into something a friend would tell you: which vehicle, in your city, at your budget, makes sense — and why.

What we ship

  • City-true on-road prices for every variant we list, refreshed on a regular cadence.
  • Score-by-need cards: commute, weekend, long-distance, family, EV-curious.
  • Calculators for EMI, 5-year total cost of ownership, and yearly service spend.
  • News with an excerpt and source link — no link-bait, no autoplay video.
  • A clean comparison table at /compare for any two vehicles.

What we don't do

  • We don't sell leads to dealers. Names and phone numbers are never collected server-side.
  • We don't accept payment to rank vehicles higher. Sponsorships are labelled.
  • We don't pretend to be an autoshow. Specs come from manufacturer sources first.

How we work

The site is built on Cloudflare end-to-end. Pages are statically rendered where possible and cached at the edge. Personalisation (your city, your shortlist) lives in your browser only — the server reads zero personalisation. This is a deliberate choice and is described in our privacy page.

Where we use AI

We use large language models for first-draft summaries, headline cleanup, and to translate specs into plain English. Every numeric claim — price, mileage, dimensions, warranty — is human-verified against a primary source before it ships. See our AI policy for the full rules.
